Hardwood Flooring Installation FAQ’s
How long does it take to install and finish solid hardwood flooring?
Because solid hardwood flooring is a natural species, it is important that the floor you select is stored your (in was missing this line) home in the area that it’s going to be installed for pre-acclimation. This process will take approximately one week or until an accurate moisture reading is recorded. The installation itself will take 1 to 2 days depending on the scope of the job. Once full acclimation is complete, the floors are now ready to be sanded and finished. The finish process takes about four to five days.
